ABOUT GUA SHA

Gua sha, which literally means “to scrape away”, is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that can be traced back thousands of years to the Paleolithic Age. This ancient practice of massage with light pressure and repeated motions is relevant to modern day beauty routines as it provides many key benefits to the skin.

The Vivier Gua Sha tool is made from 100% Natural White Jade. Its shape is designed to allow for comfortable grip during use and features distinct sections optimized for effectively targeting the various areas of the face, chin, neck.

YOUR GUA SHA ROUTINE

PREPARE

For best results, prepare your skin by cleansing and toning with one of our Vivier cleansers and our Refreshing Toner. Next, apply your favourite Vivier Vitamin C Serum to your face, neck, and chest. The serum will help your Gua Sha tool glide along your skin during your massage.

MASSAGE

Keeping the Gua Sha flat against the skin, gently massage face and neck. Repeat each movement on both sides of the face, three to five times before moving onto the next area.

COMPOSITION AND CARE

The Vivier Gua Sha is made from 100% Natural White Jade. White Jade is a nephrite rich in calcium and magnesium and commonly known to be a symbol of peace, health and harmony.

Keep Gua Sha clean by washing it with warm water and soap after each use. Store Gua Sha in a clean, safe area – like the provided pouch - until your next use.
